Fiesta San Antonio

Your guide to the annual celebration of the diverse heritage, culture, and spirit of San Antonio!

Beginning as a singular parade in 1891 honoring the heroes of the Alamo and the Battle of San Jacinto, Fiesta has evolved that commemoration into what is today one of the nation's premier festivals, celebrating the city's rich heritage and history. Taking place on April 18 - 28, the event has become San Antonio's biggest party, attracting millions of attendees. During this eleven day celebration you can see four parades, including one on the San Antonio River, listen to live music, see a fashion show, eat and drink delicious bites and beverages, and stay active!

Kicking off this year's celebration is Fiesta Fiesta at Hemisfair Park on April 18th. Experience live music from the main stage, shop local crafts, barter with your friends for Fiesta medals, and taste creations from San Antonio's culinary talents. Have fun and give back at this official kick off, as all the proceeds from this night benefit local nonprofit causes. Afterward head over to Fiesta Carnival for as many rides as you can handle!

With over 100 events over the course of Fiesta, there's something for everyone. Watch the Fiesta Teen King & Queen receive their crowns, run a 10k marathon, learn about the city's history, or attend a masquerade.
